Loved this book!

I love it when I find a new author and fall in love with the writing--the story--the ending! 

Alena Dillon is a new favorite and I highly recommend this book.

The conflicts of mother and daughter, wife and husband, present and past are beautifully portrayed!  Dual timeline of 2009 and 1943 tells a story of regrets, secrets, forgiveness, reconciliation and recognition of heroic acts that were long overdue.  Dillon knows the struggles of everyday life, of sacrifice, of patriotism, of a mother's love for her husband, her family, and her mother, in spite of all of their challenges and brings struggles and reconciliation full circle.  You will love this book!
