I grew up in the New York State Finger Lakes region and it instilled in me a love of blue lakes and rustling creeks, acres of wine grapes and fresh air. I remember rambling through the fields and woods near my country home. I fell in love the written word, libraries, and the feel of books in my hand. I was also lucky enough to be raised in a home filled with music and it continues to be a meaningful part of my life.
To me, all things fashioned out of musical notes and words are the ultimate reflection of life’s exquisite journey. Life moved on and moved me to Pennsylvania, then North Carolina which I love, and now I write novels and create stories for others who love reading as much as I do! I'm retired now which has given me the time to write. I belong to the North Carolina Writer’s Network, the NC Scribes writing group (my friends and loving critics), and the Military Writers Society of America where I edit articles for their magazine. I give back to my community through volunteerism. "Heirloom" is my debut novel in the Kate Tyler series. The second book is "The Legend" and the third (and final?) in the series is "Secrets at Deep Lake". I was also fortunate to contribute to the anthology of 9/11 stories, "9/11: That Beautiful, Broken Day".
